How much does Fudtrack cost?

Starter is free with a 3% fee on online card orders. Pro is $49/month with a 2% fee plus 500 marketing texts included. The fee applies to the food subtotal of online card orders only — never tax, never tips, never cash, never walk-up sales. There are no contracts and no setup fees.

Does Fudtrack do inventory, food cost, or P&L?

No — on purpose. Fudtrack focuses on selling: orders, POS, bookings, and marketing. There's a one-tap 86 switch for when an item sells out, and CSV sales exports drop cleanly into QuickBooks or a spreadsheet, so your accountant still gets everything they need — without you running a warehouse system from a truck.

What hardware do I need?

Nothing proprietary — everything runs in a browser, and it all works from the phone in your pocket in a pinch. For a comfortable service, we recommend a 10-inch or larger Android tablet for the kitchen display and walk-up POS, mounted with Fully Kiosk Browser (Fudtrack keeps it awake and fullscreen automatically). Prefer paper tickets in the kitchen? Star CloudPRNT thermal-printer support is coming soon; today every order shows on the kitchen display. A tablet typically runs a couple hundred dollars, bought anywhere you like, owned by you.

Where does my money go?

You connect Stripe Express during setup (about 5 minutes of identity checks). Card payments are coming soon — when they go live they'll settle straight to your own bank on Stripe's normal schedule, and Fudtrack never holds your funds. Cash and QR ordering work today.

Can customers order when the truck is closed?

No — that's the point. Ordering windows come from your real schedule: your weekly spots and confirmed events, minus a cutoff buffer you control. Private events never accept online orders and only show as "Booked" on your public calendar.

How do the SMS features work?

Fudtrack provisions a dedicated texting number for your truck. Order-status texts (confirmed, ready) are always free and unlimited. Marketing blasts to customers who opted in are metered: 500 segments/month included on Pro, 3¢ per segment beyond that.

What's the food truck directory?

Every active truck on Fudtrack is listed at fudtrack.com/trucks with live open-now status, ratings, and next stops — pulled from your real schedule, not a stale listing. It's free demand for your truck, and orders from the directory are attributed in your Insights.

Can I take catering and private event bookings?

Yes. Your site includes a booking page with availability checks against your calendar. You confirm requests from your admin, set the event public (customers can order) or private (calendar shows Booked), and set a per-location tax rate.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or leave whenever — your menu, order history, and customer list are yours. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees.
